Sales Advice

If you have ordered a product online without pre-sales advice you have therefore made a judgment that the product is suitable for your requirement.
Our website provides as much information as possible to help you make a sensible buying decision. Based upon the information provided we will not be responsible for any suitability issue of any of our products, including performance,colour,dimensions, noise levels or general appearance.

Before & After sales advice is available via telephone or email.
We will do our very best to advise you on the correct product for your particular application based upon the information you provide.
You must acknowledge that we can not always provide the definitive solution to certain situations and applications as there are certain variables that we can not fully appreciate. It will be your decision based upon the advice and information given to decide if a given product is suitable for your particular use and needs.

Ordering Refrigeration Equipment Ireland

You may order products displayed on this web site by Calling ArcticNi direct or by faxing, ‘e-mail’ or posting a purchase order to our details given. If you place your order via ,telephone, fax or mail we will confirm you order via e-mail or post within 2 working days.

If ArcticNi is unable to supply you with a particular item you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as possible after receiving your order.

In the event of this happening, you may cancel your order and we will refund your money within 30 days

You can pay by any Visa, MasterCard, Laser credit card or by most debit cards. You may also pay by cheque posted direct to our offices if that is your prefered method of payment, please just allow extra time for clearance of funds and therefore extended delivery time.

ArcticNi will normally debit money from your account within one working day after we have received your order.

We cannot guarantee delivery times but we aim to deliver our products within the specified time given when you place your order. If our products are not delivered on time then please do not hesitate to contact our office by telephone or e-mail.

Cancellation of Orders after payment has been Received using Credit Cards will incur a 2% Refund Charge( As ArcticNi are charged by our On-Line Banking to complete the Refund )

Delivery

Delivery is normally included on our advertised products for the whole of Ireland, both North and South, a delivery charge applies to the Uk and all other countries unless otherwise stated.

Note: Additional delivery and installation costs may apply on certain larger items on our site such as Storage Heaters, always ring for advise, do not make assumptions.

If you have any special delivery instructions , we must be notified in writing at the time of order and we will endeavour to comply.

Please ensure that adequate facilities are available at your delivery point in order that the delivery driver can carry out prompt and safe unloading.

Deliveries are made by a single driver only and therefore it is his responsibility solely to deliver and offload at ground level only. If delivery is required to any floor other than a ground floor level site then you will need to make arrangements to meetr our driver and accept delivery

Standard delivery is any time during a normal working day. However we can provide a timed delivery at additional cost and this can be advised at the time of purchase.

On Receipt of Goods

On receipt please inspect the goods carefully for damage as ArcticNi is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises ArcticNi of such within three working days from the date of delivery.

You now have 7 working days to examine the goods to ensure theyare as you expected. Use of the goods can render them as second hand and therefore a charge may be made and deducted from the amount refunded.

Prices & V.A.T

All prices are inclusive of 20% V.A.T at the current rate.
Prices and products quoted are subject to alteration or withdrawal from time to time without notice.
All Payments & Refunds by Credit Cards incur a 2% surcharge to cover administration & banking charges.

Deliveries are to be made within the Island of Ireland unless stated otherwise.
Unless otherwise stated the goods shall not become the property of the buyer until the purchase price of the goods has been paid in full.

You must acknowledge that ArcticNi are not the Manufacturer of the Goods. We will however endeavor to transfer to you the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturer or supplier of the goods.

All goods on our web site are covered by a manufacturers warranty, the length and type of warranty is displayed on our web pages for each type of product . Faulty products may be sent to ArcticNi or direct to the Manufactureres depending on each manufacturers request..

When in receipt of the faulty product We or The Manufacturers will either repair or replace the unit and return it to you by free of charge. If the unit has proved faulty as a result of a manufacturing fault we will fully refund you the original cost of transportation to ArcticNI.

In the event that We or The Manufacturers are unable to make repairs to a faulty machine, we will endeavour to replace the machine or offer a refund. The amount of refund will depend on the period of use that you have received from the machine as per current consumer law.

Liability

We shall not be liable to the buyer for any loss or damage, how so ever caused, whether direct or indirect, consequential or otherwise, suffered by the buyer or by a third party.

Product Maintenance

ArcticNi’s products such as Air-Conditioning units, dehumidifiers and general refrigeration equipment do require a certain amount of attention from time to time. Please follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for cleaning or servicing. Filter cleaning is of major importance and our recommendation are that filters should be removed & cleaned once every month.

Failure to maintain any product pruchased on our site in a good condition can affect performance, cause premature component failure and most importantly may invalidate your manufacturers warranty.

Faulty Items

If an item is suspected as faulty within the first 14-day period from date of delivery we will pay for defective/damaged returns. Please contact us by telephone, fax or email and we will arrange for the collection. Once the goods has been returned to us it will be examined. Should the returned goods prove to be without fault , then a charge of £25 will be made along with the cost of collection and returning the goods to you. Your statutory rights are not affected in this process.

If faulty after 14 days then the Customer must carry the return costs, Arctic will foward the goods under warranty free of charge.

Returns

If you wish to return goods for whatever reason within 7 working days of delivery, you may do so providing the goods are unused and in their original packaging and in a condition suitable for re-sale (not applicable to Business customers). It will be your responsibility to return any goods at your cost. It is advisable to ensure that the returned items are fully insured against loss or damage during transportation back to ArcticNi

When the reurned goods have been received by ArcticNi they will be inspected to ensure they are fit for resale , after inspection you will be credited in full.

ArcticNi require notice prior to returning any goods , this must be in writing either by way of letter, electronic mail or fax. We reserve the right to charge for any damage or missing parts. Before returning any item you must also contact us by telephone on 00442830257040 for full instructions on how to return the goods.
We will not accept returns if the packaging is marked or damaged other than by the courier company.
Where packaging has been sealed using clear tape then clear tape must be used to re-seal. The use of any other tape such as brown packaging tape, duct tape etc will render the goods as used and therefore second-hand and a deduction can and may be made from the amount owed.

We reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking charge which can be waivered if the correct or similar product is purchased from our site.

Warranties – Guarantee

Should an item have to be replaced after 14 days under Warranty, then it is the responsibility of the purchaser, ie Customer to ensure the faulty goods are returned to ArcticNi and that any associated delivery costs are taken by the Customer.

Note: Failure to Pay in Full for Goods received will Invalidate Warranty ( No exceptions )
